The Jagadguruttam Diwas Celebration 2025 at JKYog Bhakti Ashram was a day filled with deep devotion, spiritual enlightenment, and jubilant festivities. On the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti in 1957, which fell on 14th January, our beloved Gurudev, Jagadguruttam Swami Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, was honoured with the revered title of Jagadguruttam by the Kashi Vidwat Parishad. The event was a profound reminder of the divine wisdom imparted by Shree Maharajji and the significance of Guru-tattva (the principle of the Guru) in a seeker's life.

A Divine Beginning: Sadhana Session and Guru-Tattva Reflection

The day commenced with a devotional Sadhana session, where devotees immersed themselves in kirtan and Roopdhyan. This reflective session helped attendees connect deeply with the teachings of the Guru and reflect on the central role of the Mahapurush in guiding souls on the spiritual path. The significance of Guru-tattva, as highlighted by Shree Maharajji, was a focal point during this time, creating an atmosphere of profound devotion and contemplation.

Morning Highlight: Abhishek Seva of Shree Maharajji's Vigraha

A deeply spiritual and sacred moment of the day was the Abhishek Seva of Shree Maharajji's vigraha, which was performed with the ritualistic Panchamrit by Swami Mukundananda and the devotees. This act of devotion symbolised the bond between the Guru and his disciples, reinforcing the sacred connection through a heartfelt act of service. The seva concluded with exuberant dancing, and the chants of "Hari Bol" and "Sadguru Dev Sarkar ki Jai" filled the air, creating an atmosphere of joyous celebration and spiritual energy.

Grand Celebrations: Picnic, Parikrama Seva, and Cultural Performances

Hundreds of devotees from across India, including cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune, gathered to be a part of this unforgettable day. The celebration was marked by a heartwarming picnic, where devotees shared joyful moments and memories. This gathering was not only about spirituality but also about community, togetherness, and spreading love.

The Parikrama was another highlight, where devotees lovingly pulled Shree Maharajji's Rath (chariot) around the JKYog Bhakti Ashram campus. The scene was nothing short of mesmerising as devotees danced with ecstasy, chanting in unison as they circled the divine chariot. The procession symbolised the joyous following of the Guru's teachings, filled with love and devotion.

The cultural performances during the event added a beautiful touch, with the melodies and dances uplifting the spirits of everyone present. Among the many cherished moments, one of the most awe-inspiring was when children recited the Jagadguruttam Upadhi in its entirety. This incredible display of memory and devotion left the audience in awe, receiving heartfelt applause from all attendees.

Swamiji's Special Lecture: Deep Insights into Shree Maharajji's Life

The most anticipated moment of the day was Swamiji's special 2.5-hour lecture, where he shared captivating stories from the life of Shree Maharajji. Each story was filled with wisdom, humour, and divine teachings that resonated deeply with the attendees. Devotees listened attentively, often breaking into applause as they absorbed the profound wisdom imparted by Swamiji. His lecture not only honoured the life of Shree Maharajji but also offered practical lessons for everyday living, drawing people closer to the divine and inspiring them to live a life of righteousness and devotion.

The Grand Finale: Sadhana and Hari Naam Sankirtan

As the celebrations drew to a close, a final Sadhana session took place, followed by a heartfelt Hari Naam Sankirtan. Devotees participated in an ecstatic dance to the divine names of God, immersing themselves in the blissful energy of kirtan. The air was thick with devotion, joy, and divine presence, leaving everyone spiritually uplifted and inspired.
