Continuing its mission of holistic rural outreach and preventive healthcare, Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya (JKC) organised a Comprehensive Health Check-Up Drive on 12th February 2026 for students from Classes 1 to 5.
The initiative focused on promoting early health awareness and preventive care among young students, based on the understanding that strong futures are built upon healthy foundations. By supporting children’s physical wellbeing at an early stage, the programme aimed to help students remain active, confident, and focused both inside and outside the classroom.
Preventive Healthcare for Young Learners
The health screening drive included several essential examinations designed to monitor the overall well-being and development of the students. Services provided during the camp included:
- Oxygen level monitoring through a pulse oximeter
- Weight and height assessment
- Temperature check
- Chest measurement
- Eye examination
These screenings helped healthcare professionals identify early indicators of potential health concerns while also creating awareness about the importance of regular health monitoring among students and teachers alike.
School Staff Participated Alongside Students
One of the meaningful aspects of the programme was the active participation of the entire school staff, including the respected Principal, who also underwent health screenings alongside the students.
Their involvement reinforced an important message: healthcare and well-being are collective responsibilities that extend beyond the individual. The shared participation fostered an encouraging environment in which students felt more comfortable and engaged throughout the programme.
Beyond the medical assessments, the campus atmosphere throughout the day was filled with smiles, curiosity, interaction, and reassurance. The healthcare professionals from JKC interacted warmly with the children, transforming what could have been a routine medical check-up into a meaningful experience of compassion, care, and connection.
For many students, the initiative became an opportunity not only to receive healthcare support but also to feel seen, supported, and encouraged.
Through initiatives like this, JKYog continues working towards strengthening rural communities by integrating healthcare, education, and preventive awareness.
By nurturing student wellbeing today, such programmes help lay the foundation for healthier, brighter, and more confident futures for young learners. The Comprehensive Health Check-Up Drive stood as another meaningful example of compassionate service reaching communities where it is needed most.
