Chennai: A Divine Awakening
31st January – 2nd February 2025
Chennai experienced a divine wave of inspiration as Swami Mukundananda visited for a 3-day Life Transformation Program (LTP), igniting the hearts of seekers and lighting the path of Bhakti. The newly formed JKYog Chennai Satsang Center gave a grand floral welcome to Swamiji, marking the beginning of a spiritually electrifying experience.
In the opening session, Swamiji invited everyone to reflect on two fundamental questions: "When were you born?" and "Why were you born?" These questions formed the foundation for a deeper understanding of happiness, the pursuit of God, and the vital role of surrender. His engaging and humorous dialogues, combined with Vedic wisdom, captivated the audience throughout.
A memorable moment was the launch of Spiritual Secrets of Hinduism, where Swamiji, alongside JKYog Chancellor Dr. S Ramaratnam, unveiled his latest book, attracting many new seekers into the fold of JKYog. Community initiatives on February 1st included a Free Dental Camp in collaboration with Swami Vivekananda Hospital and Awake NGO, a "Books by the Sea" event, and a cheerful Snack Seva Counter. The highlight was Swamiji’s sunrise satsang by the ocean, filled with heartfelt Q&A, kirtan, and meditation on Krishna Leela, leaving everyone deeply moved.
The final day of the program marked the 2nd anniversary of JKYog Chennai Satsang Center at Yogalaya. Swamiji's meditation on Bhagavan Ram, a lecture on Navadha Bhakti, and the heartfelt aarti made this a morning to cherish. Volunteers were recognised for their dedication, and a 6-minute rewind video brought smiles and nostalgia to all. Swamiji’s closing session on Sharanagati—the six-fold path of surrender—left everyone with clarity and renewed commitment, with many attendees joining the growing Chennai satsang community, determined to walk faster on the path toward God.

His insights into Vedic Psychology empowered attendees to transcend emotional disturbances and attain inner peace.
The second day began with an intimate satsang at Radha Govind Dham, where Swamiji led the congregation in a soulful Asharan Sharan kirtan, followed by the Hare Ram Mahamantra sankirtan. Over 200 devotees participated in this intimate session, experiencing divine bliss, which ended with a heartfelt aarti and prasadam. The event marked the launch of the Telugu edition of the Bhagavad Gita, with RP Patnaik Ji being honoured for his efforts in bringing Swamiji’s Gita commentary to the Telugu-speaking audience.

Following the aarti, devotees shared prasadam before heading to the SIR MV Auditorium for the first lecture.
Swamiji began the series by addressing the ultimate goal and purpose of life: the quest for happiness. Through logic, Vedic wisdom, and engaging stories, he explained that true happiness is found in Brahman—the Supreme Divine Personality. The session ended with an engaging Q&A and informal interactions, providing further insights into practical applications of Vedic teachings.
On Day 2, Swamiji explored Bhakti and divine grace, delving into why many of us are still attached to materialism despite reciting prayers like "Twameva mata cha pita twameva." He resolved doubts and dualities, elaborating on karma, karma yoga, and the importance of surrendering to the Divine. The day also featured a peaceful morning walk at Cubbon Park, where Swamiji shared divine moments with devotee volunteers.
Swamiji also visited several major bookstores in Bengaluru, including Blossom and Gangaram, where he personally signed copies of his books. His visit reinforced the importance of spreading wisdom and inspired bookstore owners.
