With a commitment to quality healthcare, Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya (JKC) and its dedicated volunteers took a positive step to uplift the children of Banara and nearby villages. These children, mostly from rural households and lacking access to basic facilities like healthcare and education, face significant challenges.
In the presence of Swami Mukundananda, an impactful Children's healthcare camp was organized. This event aimed to make a significant change in the lives of these rural youngsters. The medical team and volunteers conducted a range of essential tests recommended by a Paediatric consultant, including:
- Blood group
- Rh typing
- Haemoglobin levels
- Thorough physical examinations – all provided free of charge.
Moreover, each child attending the camp received comprehensive health assessments, including:
- Eye tests
- Ear tests
- General blood tests for cholesterol
- Full-body check.
The camp also played a crucial role in gathering valuable data on the rural health index of children in Banara Panchayat.
The JKC children's camp exemplifies JKYog's commitment to providing clinical services that address the immediate healthcare needs of marginalized rural communities and suburbs through one-day camps. Customized and extensive, these camps serve as the initial steps toward offering comprehensive health services to the sections of society that need them the most.
