Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga is one of the 12 holy Jyotirlingas, a devotional representation of Lord Shiv-ji. As stated by the Dvādaśa Jyotirliṅga Stotram, describing the 12 jyotirlingas, “वाराणस्यां तु विश्वेशं त्र्यम्बकं गौतमीतटे।” - describes Trimbakeshwar, located on the banks of River Gautami - now known as Godavari. This parikrama shall be via Someshwar Mahadev Mandir where Shree Maharajji’s Asti Visarjan was performed.
After the tenth year of exile, Shree Ram, along with Laxman-ji and Sita-ji, lived for two and half years on the northern bank of the Godavari in Nashik. This place, known as Panchavati, is one of the holiest sites in the whole of Nashik city. Apart from his confrontation with and severance of Soorpanakha’s nose, due to which the place came to be known as ‘Nashik’, the area is also called ‘Tapovan’ for a reason which relates to Laxman-ji.
Kalaram Mandir, Sita Gufa, Ram Kund - Places Shree Ram, Sita-ji & Laxman-ji graced with their presence, during their exile from Ayodhya. The Kalaram temple was founded around the 18th century. Once, it is claimed, the temple priest had a dream that the deity of Shree Ram in black colour was in the river Godavari. He carried out expedition of reviving the idol of the deity and miraculously got it. He took the statue of the deity from the river and built the Kalaram temple. Sita Gufa is widely regarded as the place where Sita-ji was kidnapped by Ravan, while the three were in exile.

As you sing and dance to the divine names of Radha-Krishna, feel the overflowing grace enveloping you.
