Spirituality is a powerful force that can bring immense positivity to our lives. It is not just a practice limited to the confines of a temple or a place of worship. Instead, it is a way of life that can transform us from within. By embracing spirituality and embodying the teachings of Bhagavad Gita, we can elevate our actions and thoughts to a whole new level. Let us strive to make spirituality a part of our daily lives and experience the joy and peace it can bring.

यत्करोषि यदश्नासि यज्जुहोषि ददासि यत् |
यत्तपस्यसि कौन्तेय तत्कुरुष्व मदर्पणम् ||
yat karoṣhi yad aśhnāsi yaj juhoṣhi dadāsi yat
yat tapasyasi kaunteya tat kuruṣhva mad-arpaṇam
(Bhagavad Gita 9.27)
"Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer as oblation to the sacred fire, whatever you bestow as a gift, and whatever austerities you perform, O son of Kunti, do them as an offering to me."

Offering Every Action to God
Therefore, we can start with our daily routine. Instead of focusing on the taste of our food, we can offer it to Shree Krishna first and imagine that we are eating his prasadam. This allows us to eat for the pleasure of God and show our love and devotion to him. Caring for our bodies and health is essential to serving and loving Shree Krishna. Therefore, we should eat what is good for us. This perspective helps us approach eating in a more meaningful way.

Similarly, when we go to sleep, we can offer our sleep to God and think about waking up fresh early in the morning to do our bhakti in the form of sadhana and seva. We can even ask for a dream of Shree Krishna's darshan. By thinking this way, we connect God with that activity. Shree Kripaluji Maharaj says that even when we scratch our bodies due to itchiness, we can bring God into such trivial activity by thinking that Shree Krishna is watching us, scratching our backs, and laughing at us. By scratching for his pleasure, we connect God to every activity. Shree Krishna says, "You must offer the results of your work to God!" Therefore, as a businessman, there is no harm in making a profit, but we must consider serving God with the rest of our earnings after using the money for our necessities.

Transforming Our Internal Attitude

Similarly, as parents, we should cultivate a desire to help our children make their lives perfect by remembering that they are God's children, and it is our responsibility to take care of them in this life. We should allow them to make their lives perfect. The real test is whether we are doing our duty as a parent for God's pleasure or our own. If we feel disturbed or disappointed by the results, it is proof that we are doing it for ourselves and not for God. If we are doing it for God, there is no disturbance. We should think, "I have put in my best effort, and this is the result – so I will accept it as God's wish for it to be so! I leave it to Him!" By transforming our internal attitude, we can transform even the mundane activities of material life into divine service of God. Therefore, let us step towards this transformation by dedicating all our actions to God.
